![]() Although if my skin is feeling a little oilier than usual, I will use All Day Luminous Weightless. However, I do prefer Sheer Glow overall as it gives my skin a fuller looking complexion and makes it look a lot more glowing. I have combination skin therefore, I am able to use both of these products. The foundation that you buy does depend on what type of skin you have. Neither of these products come cheap, however I definitely think they are worth the money and they do go along way. This foundation comes in a tall, thin bottle with a frosted glass finish and does include a pump, unlike Sheer Glow. When the foundation has been applied to the skin, it gives the complexion a matte finish which does make the skin look particularly dull in comparison to Sheer Glow, however does look more natural. The consistency of the All Day Luminous Weightless foundation is rather watery, therefore needs to be shaken before every use in order to prevent the formula from separating.Īll Day Luminous Weightless is quite hard to blend into the skin as it tends to set and dry quite quickly, meaning that you need to work and blend it into the skin at a rather fast pace. When this product is applied to dry skin or dry patches, the foundation tends to stick and cling to these areas, making the skin appear patchy and flaky. This foundation is best suited for people with an oily complexion. The pigments include gold and green tones which help give the luminous effect and counteracts any redness of the skin. This foundation also has the same shades as Sheer Glow and is also very highly pigmented. Now, onto the All Day Luminous Weightless foundation. Even though you are able to purchase a pump, the lid of Sheer Glow will no longer fit whilst the pump is attached. However, pumps are available to purchase for just £3. The only downside is that this foundation does not come with a pump which makes it a lot harder to distribute to makeup brushes. The product is in a small, rounded, glossy glass bottle with a black lid that you just twist-on. Also, a little goes a long way with this product. The coverage of Sheer Glow is medium to full and can definitely be built up for a fuller looking complexion without it seeming too thick or cakey. This helps with the application of the foundation, making it smoother and easier to blend, leaving the skin looking bright and radiant with a dewy, satin finish. This product is also very moisturising when it is applied, leaving the skin feel healthy and hydrated. Sheer Glow is aimed at people with normal to dry skin. ![]() This makes it easier for people to decide which shade would best suit them. Each shade offers different pigmentation, some of them having more yellow undertones and others having more pink undertones. NARS Sheer Glow offers a variety of different shades. I am going to talk you through both of these foundations and the different qualities that they have and which one is most likely to suit your skin type. The shade that I use in both foundations is Santa Fe. I have combination skin so I am quite lucky in the sense that I can use both of these products, however it does depend on how my skin is on the day. ![]() Some people have dry skin, some people have oily skin and others have a combination of the two. But honestly, it is completely and utterly down to the skin type of each individual person. So, the question on everybody’s lips is which of these two foundations they should buy. Lastly, the foundation didn't oxidize on me.NARS All Day Luminous Weightless foundation VS NARS Sheer Glow. I'd also notice that t he foundation gathers in some area and make it look so obvious that I'm actually wearing foundation. It holds for the classic 10 hours but my nose would get shiny by mid-day (but that could be because of the primer, without primer, I noticed it would go on better). I wore this foundation a couple of times but I didn't get to test them out for more than 10 hours or so. It also settles into the pores of my nose, and let me tell you, it really looks bad after a few hours of wear.Īs far as longevity goes, I'm that one student who can actually have 16 hours-long days sometimes. In this case, if you're older or just have many fine lines, you might want to test the foundation first as well. I only set my nose and forehead with some Banana powder but even with that, it has that awful tendency to highlight those areas and make me look older than I'm. I might be frowning too much but it also settled into the lines on the forehead (I didn't know I had.) I get after I frowned. The one major flaw this foundation has, it settles into your fine lines ! Now, keep in mind that I'm only 20 years old, I do not have any wrinkles whatsoever but this foundation had the awful tendency to set into my laugh lines, my under-eyes fine lines, the corner of my nose and last but not least.
